Last week i found at least 6-7 people while interviewing candidates for a senior role. The common story about each one of them is how they were replaced in their current company and how problematic their situation was.
I was also laid off, so i resonated with every word they spoke. The feeling is tough when you don't know what is gonna happen next. There are typically 4 stages in life of a software developer.
1. Freshman or graduate
2. Junior Developer
3. Senior Developer/Tech Lead/ CTO
4. WHAT AFTER THAT?
Nobody is gonna tell you about stage 4. Today we will be exploring about what happens after and how to transition from each stage gracefully. You can find the path available and then make an informed decision.
This was a heartfelt topic, so i recorded a video on it. Here you go.
Even if you are interviewing for a job role in the software industry, you will also find this series useful -
Let's win together!
